The warrior's reflection

Prince Koda has spent his life training to be the perfect reflection of his father’s cruelty. But when he is cursed by a dying monk to see the "true soul" of everyone he strikes, the battlefield becomes an unbearable hall of mirrors. Every blow he deals allows him to feel the victim's memories, their love, and their pain. No longer able to kill without feeling himself die, Koda becomes a pacifist in a kingdom that demands blood. He must find a way to lead a revolution of empathy, using his curse as a mirror to show his father’s army the horror of their own reflections.
